On a beautifully sunny Sunday morning, the orange Riteway "school" bus was loaded full of the belongings of the East and West students, as the parents stood waving their last goodbyes. Smiles and tears on the faces of those present, and well wishes for the embarking German American Exchange Partners filled the air. A quick check of everyone's passport was conducted on board and the bus left the parking lot at 11:00 AM CST.
